Introduction
What is Stashlist?
Stashlist is a Shopify app that lets customers save products to a personal wishlist. It fires events to your marketing tools, tracks when saved items convert to sales, and works with any Shopify theme with no code changes required.
Embeds are enabled through the theme editor using app embeds and blocks. For themes that don't support standard app blocks, Stashlist also supports a headless injection mode that lets you place the wishlist button anywhere in your theme.
What's included
- Wishlist button: a heart icon on product pages customers click to save or unsave a product
- Collection hearts: heart icons injected into collection grids via a theme app embed
- Wishlist page: a full page showing saved items with add to cart, remove, and share actions
- Cart save for later: lets customers save cart items to their wishlist instead of removing them
- Admin dashboard: see all customers' wishlists, analytics, and conversion data in your Shopify admin
- Klaviyo integration: automatically fire wishlist events to Klaviyo for flows and segments
Quick setup
- Install the app
Add Stashlist from the Shopify App Store. A free trial is included.
- Turn on the embeds
In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes → Customize. Turn on the Stashlist embeds for your product pages, collections, and wishlist page. See the Embeds guide for step-by-step instructions.
- Connect your marketing tools (optional)
In your Stashlist admin, go to Integrations to connect Klaviyo, Omnisend, Meta Pixel, GA4, and more. Each integration fires wishlist events automatically. See the Integrations guide for details.
Guest wishlists
Customers don't need a Shopify account to save items. Guest wishlists are stored locally and merge into the customer's account automatically when they log in.
You can disable guest wishlists in the app settings if your store requires login to save items.
